{"id":9985,"date":"2024-04-05T09:52:25","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T09:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/simbiosy.com\/change-management-towards-the-circular-economy-of-terrassa\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T09:19:46","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T09:19:46","slug":"change-management-towards-the-circular-economy-of-terrassa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simbiosy.com\/en\/change-management-towards-the-circular-economy-of-terrassa\/","title":{"rendered":"Change management towards the circular economy of Terrassa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Inclusion of waste from Terrassa industries in the value chain of companies<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/simbiosy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Terrassa.pdf\">Terrassa Fact Sheet<\/a>, a summary of the project on change management in the value chain of waste from companies in Terrassa (Barcelona), is now available.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The objective of this project has been to <strong>promote the use of waste generated by industries in the territory<\/strong> to generate sustainable economic development, one of the opportunities identified in the <em><strong>Terrassa Circular Economy Strategic Plan<\/strong><\/em> carried out in 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Waste is analyzed<\/strong> from paper and cardboard, organic materials, wood, textiles, and some plastics (polypropylene, film, and expanded polystyrene), <strong>throughout the entire value chain of the materials<\/strong>. The actors who could benefit from the <strong>new business opportunities identified<\/strong> are identified, both through the use of waste (saving on management costs) and in the use of recycled materials in their products. <\/p>\n\n<p>It has been possible to estimate with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.synerplatfor.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Syner<\/a> the amount of <strong>materials with the potential for valorization that are lost mixed in the trivial fraction of industries<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>types of companies that could be generating them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Recycled products have been proposed where materials that normally end up in the landfill could be used.<\/p>\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3449\" src=\"https:\/\/simbiosy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/TEXTIL-scaled.png\" alt=\"  width=\" height=\"617\"\/><\/p>\n\n<p>Mapping surplus resources and identifying opportunities for innovation and business development with them is a basic first step for both private and public investment policies.<\/p>\n\n<p>Learn about more projects like this <a href=\"https:\/\/simbiosy.com\/proyectos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inclusion of waste from Terrassa industries in the value chain of companies The Terrassa Fact Sheet, a summary of the project on change management in the value chain of waste from companies in Terrassa (Barcelona), is now available.
