Project description

Quatre Ribes is a supramunicipal initiative that brings together the municipalities of Argentona, Cabrera de Mar, Dosrius, and Òrrius (province of Barcelona) with the aim of jointly working on the sustainable economic development of the territory.

The project places industrial symbiosis as a strategic axis to improve business competitiveness, reduce costs associated with waste management, and move towards a model of territorial circular economy, aligned with the sustainability and investment attraction objectives of the area.

Through the analysis of the industrial metabolism of the territory, the project identifies flows of waste, resources, and by-products, detecting opportunities for shared use, material recovery, and generation of new business opportunities among local companies.
