Verónica Kuchinow
Director General
Verònica is an entrepreneur and agronomist with extensive experience advising on circular economy and industrial symbiosis projects for municipalities, companies, and governments. With a diverse background in business management and leadership—gained in both Spain and China—as well as in corporate communication and innovation, she brings her enthusiasm and strategic vision to transforming resource efficiency into a powerful tool for the decarbonization of our businesses and regions.
Anna Lluís
Technical Director
Anna is an agricultural engineer and a leading specialist in implementing energy-waste-water synergies through smart, sustainable solutions. Holding a master’s degree in energy management and a diverse background in environmental studies, she possesses extensive experience in environmental and public utility management projects. Her work advising both private SMEs and major industrial groups has equipped her with an exceptional blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to “make things happen.”
Noemí Daza
Data Analyst (Syner)
Noemí holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and a postgraduate qualification in Business Management from IESE, with over 20 years of experience in executive roles at multinational companies. Flexible, methodical, and highly skilled in data management, she leverages her strong analytical capabilities to develop programs that map resource flows and analyze agro-industrial ecosystems—the foundation of the company’s operations.
Mireia García
Consulting Manager
Mireia holds a degree in Sociology and a degree in Geography and Territorial Planning, with over 10 years of experience in business management and team leadership. Organized and passionate about challenges and collaboration, she combines her extensive management experience with the development of projects focused on the bioeconomy and sustainable territorial development.

An industrial engineer and manager at BORSUB International, he brings us his strategic vision for business growth and development.
Raül Panigua
Consultant
Raül holds a degree in Environmental Science and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. He has experience in project coordination and is characterized by his analytical approach. He is passionate about working with data related to waste management and proposing sustainable solutions that contribute to greater environmental efficiency.

An agricultural engineer specializing in geographic information and data analysis—and deeply passionate about making data and digital tools accessible for social, environmental, and agricultural projects—Laura is our “data scientist.” Dynamic, flexible, and possessing a “anything is possible” mindset, Laura joins the Símbiosy team to lead the technological development of the SYNER surplus resource mapping platform, combining scientific knowledge with AI applications to “curate” data estimates that were previously inaccessible.

From a shared idea to an international network
Since 2014, we have been working to demonstrate that collaboration can transform industry. Our journey reflects a constant evolution: from the first local industrial symbiosis projects to an international network that connects companies, territories, and people with a common purpose.
2014
The beginnings
Anna Lluís and Verònica Kuchinow found SÍMBIOSY. The idea is born and the first local industrial symbiosis projects are executed.
2015
Manresa in symbiosis
The first industrial symbiosis project in Spain, “Manresa in symbiosis,” is launched.
2016
Expansion in Catalonia
Expansion in Catalonia: Ecoindustria, Vallès Circular, Granollers en Simbiosi, Simbiosi Industrial…
2018
Strategic plans
